Challenge
Employment Plus needed a way to enable its recruiters to fill last-minute job orders more quickly and effectively. Prior to InstaStaff, Employment Plus’ job fill method was to call potential candidates one by one to find out if they were available for work and interested in the opportunity. This staffing method presented several challenges to the team:
- Time-consuming job fulfillment process: Recruiters had to dedicate a number of hours or days to making up to 300+ individual phone calls to qualified candidates on their call sheets for a single job order. This process was often slow and unpredictable—some job orders took days to fill while, less often, other job orders were completed in the first few calls.
- Additional resource needs: Hard-to-fill positions and large job orders frequently required additional resources to handle the task of making numerous phone calls, driving profit margins down and opening the door for competitors also seeking to fill positions.
- Missed messages: Because Employment Plus placed calls manually and often had to leave messages for unreachable candidates, recruiters frequently could not confirm whether messages had been received.
